Live From Warwick

Apparently my Saturday talk at the Warwick Economics Summit (like several of the others) will be streamed live over the Internet here. I go on at 8:55AM eastern standard time, but don’t feel like you have to set an alarm clock; there will be video available after the fact.

I look forward to seeing it as long as it does not mention
    1) De Morgan’s Laws
    2) mental retardation
    3) whether anyone can really be forced at gunpoint or if rather the inherent illegitimacy of government requires contraception for all.

Enjoyed the talk. One question came to me later regarding the more-sex-is-safe-sex part: what if the people who aren’t promiscuous have perfectly inelastic supply curves? Perhaps they want one and only one sexual partner. Then society would be at the optimal level of sex despite the fact that they (the sexually not promiscuous) don’t account for the positive externality they bestow on everyone else when choosing how many partners to have.
