    Alas, I may never get further than the frontispiece, although the chapter “The Seven Elementary Catastrophies” sounds intriguing. I presume arrival of dragons is one of them. It was certainly catastrophic for the folk of laketown in that historical documentary I saw recently.

    Everyone will be very pleased that when the dragon turns up, there will be people who know how to slay it.
